Anescribe is designed for use by healthcare professionals to assist with clinical documentation, including speech-to-text transcription, document generation, vitals entry, schedule scanning, and related documentation workflows.

Anescribe may collect and process the following information when you use the app:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, login credentials, and authentication information.
• Clinical documentation content that you enter, dictate, scan, upload, or generate through the app.
• Audio recordings or speech input used for transcription, when you choose to use speech-to-text features.
• Images or documents that you scan or upload for documentation purposes.
• App usage and diagnostic information, such as device type, app version, crash logs, and basic technical data needed to maintain and improve the service.

Clinical documentation content may include Protected Health Information (PHI) if you choose to enter, dictate, scan, upload, or generate PHI through Anescribe.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected through Anescribe only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the app and related services.

Specifically, we may use information to:

• Authenticate users and protect account access.
• Generate, edit, store, display, or transmit clinical documentation at the user’s direction.
• Process speech input for transcription.
• Process scanned or uploaded images and documents for documentation workflows.
• Troubleshoot errors, maintain app performance, and improve reliability.
• Maintain audit logs, security records, and compliance-related records where required.
• Provide user support.

Anescribe does not use clinical documentation content, patient information, audio, images, or uploaded documents for advertising.

3. Protected Health Information

Anescribe is intended for use by healthcare professionals and may process PHI when users choose to enter or upload PHI into the app.

When Anescribe processes PHI on behalf of a covered entity or business associate, Anescribe handles that PHI in accordance with applicable business associate obligations and any applicable Business Associate Agreement.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Anescribe complies with their own professional, institutional, legal, and regulatory obligations.

4. Audio, Transcription, and Document Processing

If you use Anescribe’s speech-to-text, OCR, schedule scanning, document generation, or related processing features, the content you provide may be transmitted to secure service providers for processing.

These service providers are used only to perform the requested function and are not permitted to use the content for their own marketing or unrelated purposes.

Where required for HIPAA-regulated workflows, Anescribe uses service providers under appropriate contractual protections.

5. No Sale of Personal Information

Anescribe does not sell personal information, patient information, clinical documentation content, audio recordings, uploaded documents, or PHI.

Anescribe does not share user or patient information with third parties for third-party marketing.

6. Limited Third-Party Service Providers

Anescribe may use third-party service providers for functions such as:

• Cloud hosting and storage.
• Authentication and account security.
• Speech-to-text transcription.
• Optical character recognition.
• Error logging and app diagnostics.
• Email or support communications.

These providers are used only as necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve Anescribe.

Clinical documentation and uploaded content may be retained according to the user’s selected workflow, applicable account settings, or contractual requirements.

Users are responsible for:

• Using Anescribe only for lawful and authorized clinical purposes.
• Ensuring they have authority to enter, dictate, scan, upload, or transmit patient information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
• Complying with applicable professional, institutional, and legal requirements.
• Reviewing clinical documentation for accuracy before relying on it.

Anescribe may assist with documentation, but users remain responsible for clinical judgment, medical decision-making, and final documentation accuracy.

10. Children’s Privacy

Anescribe is intended for use by healthcare professionals and is not directed to children for personal use. Anescribe does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children as consumer users of the app.
